Presenting the player with reams of text, voice acted or not, is just plain bad. I enjoyed Dragon Age: Origins with me being silent and having a. Clearly not meant to be, this game is what it is; Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. IP isn't enough like other IPs or is too much like another IP they crack the sads. Origin decided not to let me play Amalur, I have to wait till tomorrow. I find it saddening that I want to find a crack for it, so I can make it work.

Hey Guys,

The bug in the render triggered when you move you character, once you move the in game rendering is permently broken until you close the game and re start.

This is a FOV issue:) I tried a few workarounds from the game and managed to give it a 'back all the way to the end of the garden fov' :)) meaning you are exactly in the back of the garden:))

Mate went over there to add my support..This is what I said.
'+1 for this!!! I've already pre-ordered + played the demo (which I loved) BUT this is a deal breaker, I've made a decision that unless this game supports multi-mon, then I'm not goning to buy it. Sorry, but there is way too many games coming out, and if developers don't start recognising that this is indeed more then a niche market, then I simply can't support them.
This game looks great, and it is indeed a game that should be enjoyed on at least 3 monitors (like most games in my opinion) but unless developers implement support..and most of the time its a pretty easy thing to do (come over to wide screen gaming forum to witness the relentless efforts of avid gamers trying to enjoy multi-mon games by having to hack what should already be implemented!).'
I see Helifax may have a solution..also I mentioned it to Hayden who also said if he had time he'd look at the demo, so we have the best men on the job. :)

I'm hoping they fixed it. I tried playing the demo and..yeah, that vortex issue. While visually an interesting effect, not really helpful when trying to play the game. :p

Well I cannot actually call it a solution but I noticed something interesting:
Case 1: if you select a resolution like 5040x1050 you will have the fov creating a 'vortex' if you 'zoom' it will go to the zoom mode and you can actually see where you are.
Case 2. If you select a resolution so that the difference between the H and V is smaller you will get the 'into the back of the garden fov' (still very high fov) I tried with 4096x1024 or close to it.
so for example if you would have a resolution of 2000x1000 I think we would have the correct fov for 3 screens. I read that they fixed it in the final game. So I will not go indepth with hacks for the demo. But nevertheless I find this 'discovery' interesting:) Later on I will provide 2 screenies to see exactly what I mean:)

Edit: Screenshot attached using 3840x1024 resolution. As stated above the FOV is calculated between H and V but in an exagerated way:)

Awesome work helifax as always :) m/ , so you read they have fixed the issue in the final game do you have a link?
What about the FOV will that be fixed too? I guess you can always post you fix if the final version is jacked for you clear showed the FOV its your bitch.

I've spent over a 1000 hours in this game playing on Origin and then on Steam. When you first play thru it, I suggest playing the main story first.

I have had a few situations while doing a quest when I found that it tied to another quest that I hadn't done and therefore couldn't complete the one I was working on till I finished the first one. In some cases, quests won't even show up if you've not done the first quest first. There are so many quests that's it easy to be going along thinking I'm up to date then running into a npc that hands you a quest 'out of the blue' that you didn't even know about. I've also, while doing side quests, had the main story quest shoved right under my nose when I didn't expect it.(Example meet Agar in Dalech while trying to complete a quest in ettenmore.) My experience as been there are one or two places where you do have time limits on getting something done but those are far and few between and I have failed quests that I didn't get back to in time. Not many but a few.

I've also found myself forgetting about quests that I had started but got side tracked on along the way. As far as bugs, I've had the stuck npc bug but it normally solves itself. I have gotten stuck once of twice myself and had to reload my game to get out.

I've also noted that after you complete a quest the game will place the main game story back uder your nose as the 'default next quest' if you make no selection under the Quest menu. What gets me sometimes is trying to choose a quest if you've agreed to do to many as you go along.

I suggest taking a few then getting those out of the way before agreeing to a whole bunch and finding yourself running all over the place trying to get them done. Also this approach helps keep you from having a Main Quest dropped in your lap on a sub quest and also levels you up a bit too.
